Privacy Policy
Privacy Policy
General
Elle Sasson values your privacy and is committed to protecting and safeguarding the personal information (as defined below) that you provide to us on our websites and other digital properties (the "Website"), or that we collect during your use of the Website or in connection with your engagement with us for the purchase of our products and the provision of related installation and support services (the "Products and Services").
This privacy policy describes how we use the personal information relating to you — we undertake not to transfer customer details to a third party — the purposes for which the personal information is collected, the parties with whom we share this information, and the rights available to you by law with respect to the personal information relating to you that we process (the "Policy").
By using the websites and/or by providing personal information about yourself in the course of your engagement with us for the supply of the Products and Services, you agree that we will collect, store, and use personal information about you in accordance with the terms of this Policy. It is clarified that you are not legally obligated to provide the personal information. However, failure to provide the personal information may prevent us from completing the transaction with you for the purchase of the Products and Services, may make it difficult for us to provide services to you, and may prevent the delivery of products to you; it is also possible that we will not be able to offer you the full scope of use of the websites — for example, we may not be able to contact you or respond to your inquiry on any matter.
2. Personal Information
Personal information is any information collected by us and/or provided to us by you and/or someone on your behalf, by which you (or another person) can reasonably be identified, including but not limited to first name, last name, ID number, home address, email address, telephone/mobile number, and so forth, as well as the content of any inquiry and additional information provided to us or collected during any correspondence between you and Elle Sasson.
When using the websites, Elle Sasson collects information about the websites' users. Some of the information collected does not personally identify you and is not stored together with your personal details — for example, the pages you viewed; offers and services shown to you; the IP address from which you browsed the websites; cookies; and more.
We ask you to provide us with, and we collect ourselves, only the information necessary for us to achieve the purposes set out below in this Policy.
3. Aggregate Information
We may collect, use, and share aggregate data — for example, statistical data via standard analytics tools — to learn how you and other users interact with the websites, in support of our activities and operations.
Aggregate data may be derived from personal information but is not considered personal information under applicable law, since such data does not directly or indirectly reveal your identity. For example, we may aggregate your usage data and that of other users in order to calculate the number of users of a particular feature on the websites.
However, if we combine aggregate data with personal data relating to you such that this combination could identify you directly or indirectly, we will treat the combined data as personal data falling within the scope of this Policy. We use Google Analytics analytics tools, which place cookies on your device that are controlled and managed by Google. Google Analytics offers add-ons that allow you to opt out of the collection of your data by installing a browser extension, such as the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
4. Use of Cookies
Cookies are small pieces of information stored in the browser of a user of the websites. The websites use cookies for their ongoing and proper operation, for tailoring them to users' personal preferences, for identifying registered users, for monitoring and analyzing performance, for collecting statistical data about use of the websites, for checking secure use of the website, for verifying details, and more.
When you submit data via an online form, a "Contact Us" page, or other means of communication, cookie settings may store the relevant information for future correspondence.
If you do not agree to the use of cookies, you may avoid this by changing the settings in your browser. To do so, please refer to your browser's help file. However, disabling cookies may prevent you from using some of the websites' services and features. Since in most cases there is no option to block cookies without completely disabling the functionality and features they add to the websites, it is recommended to leave them enabled while using the websites — although, as noted, the choice to avoid this is yours.
In addition, you may delete the cookies on your device at any time. It is suggested that you do so only if you are certain that you do not want the websites to be tailored to your personal preferences, and in the event that you do not want the websites to recognize you on repeat visits to pages on the websites that require registration.
5. Purposes for Which Personal Information Is Used
Elle Sasson will use personal information only in accordance with this Policy and in accordance with the provisions of the Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981 (the "Law"), and the regulations enacted thereunder. Elle Sasson will use personal information for the following purposes:
- To provide you with the Products and Services;

- In order to offer you the opportunity to join its customer club;
- To provide support and service and to respond to any question or complaint;
- In order to send you information and updates about the Products and Services ("direct mail"), as well as marketing and promotional content;
- To comply with a requirement under applicable law and to assist any relevant authority or third party, in the event that we believe in good faith that we are obligated to do so.
6. Disclosure of Information to Third Parties
We will not transfer the personal information relating to you to third parties without your consent, except in the following cases:
- To the extent required for the proper operation of the website and the content offered on it, or for the supply of our Products and Services, we will share personal information about you with various service providers;
- If required by a court order, a request from a regulatory authority, or in accordance with applicable law, subject to attorney-client privilege;
- In the event of legal proceedings between you and Elle Sasson based on actions carried out by you, or in the context of any dispute, claim, or demand, if any, between you and Elle Sasson;
- If we merge with another entity, or merge a particular activity of Elle Sasson with the activity of another party — provided that the other party undertakes to comply with the provisions of this Policy.
7. Transfers of Information Outside of Israel
Elle Sasson may transfer the personal information about you outside the jurisdiction of Israel and/or the European Union, including for cloud storage purposes. It is possible that the privacy protection laws in the jurisdiction to which the personal information is transferred will not be as comprehensive as those in force in Israel and the European Union, and in such a case, Elle Sasson will take appropriate steps to ensure a similar level of protection for the personal information about you.
8. Information Security
Elle Sasson implements up-to-date information security systems, applications, and procedures on the websites, designed to minimize the risks of theft, loss, or unauthorized access to personal information, in accordance with the provisions of the law.
While these information security systems and procedures reduce the risks of unauthorized intrusion into personal information, they do not provide absolute security. Elle Sasson cannot guarantee and does not undertake that the personal information will be completely protected against unauthorized intrusions and unlawful use of the personal information. Accordingly, you shall have no claim, demand, or cause of action against Elle Sasson (elle@sasson8.com) or anyone on its behalf due to unauthorized intrusions and/or disclosure and/or use of the personal information resulting from such unauthorized intrusions.
9. Your Rights Regarding Personal Information
At any time, you may contact us and request access to the personal information we hold about you. We will ask you to provide us with certain confirmations in order to verify your identity. If you find that personal information stored about you is incorrect, incomplete, unclear, or outdated, you may contact us and send us a detailed request to correct or delete the information. Requests on this matter should be directed to the email address: elle@sasson8.com
10. Retention and Deletion of Personal Information
We retain various types of personal information for different periods, in accordance with the purposes set out in this Policy and in accordance with legal requirements. We will delete or anonymize personal information when there is no longer any need for further processing of the personal information. We will retain aggregate, non-identifiable data indefinitely. In any event, for as long as you use the websites or are a customer of ours, we will retain personal information about you, unless applicable law requires us to delete it. It is clarified that the deletion of personal information, where necessary, is not immediate. It may take some time until residual copies of the personal information are completely deleted from the websites' active servers and backup systems and/or from the group's information systems.
11. Direct Mail and Receipt of Advertising Materials
Elle Sasson may use the identifying details it holds about you in order to contact/send you information about its products and services, as well as marketing and promotional content. Such contact may be made through any means of communication Elle Sasson deems appropriate, including by mail, email, landline telephone, mobile telephone, SMS messages, messages via social networks, and other means.
Such information will be sent to you only if you have given explicit consent to this, and you have the option, when providing your personal details, to choose not to receive Elle Sasson's marketing information, or to withdraw your consent and stop receiving such information at any time, in the manner indicated on the website and/or in the mailing itself, as applicable.
12. Changes to the Privacy Policy
We will update this Policy from time to time. The binding version of the Policy is the current version presented on the websites, and you accept and agree to the privacy policy in all its provisions. If we make material changes to this Policy, an appropriate notice will be published on the website's home page at least thirty (30) days in advance. If we make non-material changes to the Policy, an appropriate notice will be published on the website's home page at least seven (7) days in advance. To the extent we make changes in accordance with the law or a requirement of a relevant authority, such changes will take effect in accordance with the law or the requirement as noted above. If you do not agree to the updated privacy policy, you may choose not to continue using the websites and/or consuming the Products and Services.
